Oh wow, I am glad to know that you seem to be recovering quickly and to have enough energy (btw, aren't you on heavy dose of pain meds to be in a happy place?) to keep us informed of your progress. I wish you the speediest and complete recovery and Chatterbox is able to take some rest from all the stress.

marscat - congratulations, again, to you and Ippoc; wished I had stopped racing and spent more time celebratin'.

Panda - Thanks, and yes I know Ms. Chatterbox will be good hands care for me.

Russ - Thanks.

Chris - Under no circumstances should you attempt to re-take the lead in this 'contest'; we should just call the affair over with me the 'winner'. Thanks for the wishes.

Rick, I am glad you are healing. You definitely too the lead on the crash damage tally after this. I don't think I can possibly catch you now (hopefully) :) Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Doc Kim - I would have been quite happy for this crashfest to have ended some time back. And thanks for the good thoughts.

Beth - email addresses have been sent. Not a lot of time at the computer, but I will be around it then and again. Thanks for the healing thoughts; they help!

VeloGirl - I am sure that you fix a mean spinach salad and that your soups are quite tasty and nutritious, too. I know Sarah has been juggling a lot of scheduling balls for the past few weeks, this just complicates matters. And thanks for being there; there were a number of times since Wednesday that I came out of groggy land to find Sarah on the phone with you; I am sure you just being there has helped her a lot, and that helps me a lot.

Ippoc - Sorry to have messed your celebration. And I cannot thank the two of you enough for getting the Element to RMC.

Kimmy - Sarah was not into taking photos of the carnage. Quite impressive with the nose, upper lip, and part of one cheek scraped off not to mention all the joints. I did get some strong negative reaction to posting photos of the 2002 accident.

Lauren - Yikes is right.

Groover - Thanks for the wishes. The doctors and I have not talked bike, yet. Driving a car is 3 weeks out and I assume the bike is after that. But you are correct that Ms. Chatterbox is the bigger obstacle. Lot of discussions to come.

All the best and I wish a fast recovery. What's the diagnosis on being back on the bike (that is if Ms Chatterbox ever allows you to mount a bike again ...)

When you start to feeling a little better, we'd love to see pics of the carnage. After all, showing off your wounds is pretty cool too!
